Which Hypertherm System is right for you?
Sync With Other Power Unit
BOSS Tables recommends the use of Hypertherm power units as they have led the industry in cut quality. However, if you currently own a different power unit, it may be used.
The Key to obtaining a consistent cut with repeatable results and great kerf is the Digital Torch Height Controller (DHTC). What is needed for the system to operate correctly is a reliable way to measure the Torch Volts applied. Various manufactures and/or models have different locations and means to measure the Voltage. If you are thinking about using a hand torch as the machine mounted cutter you may want to consider using a Machine torch, as they are designed to be machine operated.
