Achieving a consistent cut with repeatable results and a precise kerf relies on the Digital Torch Height Controller (DHTC). For the system to function accurately, it's essential to have a dependable method for measuring the applied torch volts. Different manufacturers and models have varied approaches and positions for voltage measurement. If you're contemplating the use of a hand torch for the machine-mounted cutter, it's worth considering a machine torch instead. Machine torches are purpose-built for machine operation.
